Ele é grande. Ou melhor, Gigante!
O apelido de juventude ainda cabe muito bem a ele, embaixador da música, coração do trombone, uma lenda viva da música em todas as suas instâncias.
Ele é brasileiro, ele é do mundo, ele é patrimônio mundial da humanidade. Vamos reconhecer!
Sua musicalidade é excepcional, sua criatividade singular, sua batalha imensa e intensa, sua vida dá um filme.
Premiado e reconhecido em todo o mundo, ainda falta muito para o Brasil acordar e valorizar de fato seus talentos.
Mas ele segue, sempre em frente, firme, como um cavaleiro a partilhar música e cura, amor e generosidade, alegria e gentileza.
E eu sou amigo dele.
Em 2007 nos conhecemos em Pinheiros, São Paulo, Brasil, na casa do Marku Ribas, com quem eu trabalhava na época, e a empatia nossa foi imediata, da mesma forma com sua companheira e parceira Yolaine.
Desde então estamos sempre juntos, lado a lado, nas batalhas e nas comemorações, na criação e na produção, trazendo ao mundo música da melhor qualidade.
Hoje o meu amigo celebra um novo ano, o Gigante é jovem, 8.4.
Mas nem parece, jovial e sempre atento que nem ele, e com muita energia e ideias para nos brindar.
Que sua luz esteja sempre a brilhar! E estará!

Giant
The heart of the trombone

He’s big. Or rather, Giant!
The nickname of youth still fits him well, ambassador of music, heart of the trombone, a living legend of music in all its instances.
He is Brazilian, he is of the world, he is world heritage of humanity. Let’s recognize!
His musicality is exceptional, his creativity’s singular, his battle immense and intense, his life gives a film.
Awarded and recognized all over the world, it is still a long way from Brazil to wake up and really appreciate its talents.
But he goes on, ever forward, steady, like a knight sharing music and healing, love and generosity, joy and gentleness.
And I’m his friend.
In 2007 we met in Pinheiros, São Paulo, Brazil, at the home of Marku Ribas, with whom I worked at the time, and our empathy was immediate, in the same way with his wife and partner Yolaine.
Since then we have been together, side by side, in battles and celebrations, in creation and production, bringing to the world music of the best quality.
Today my friend celebrates a new year, the Giant is Young, 8.4.
But he does not seem, jovial and always attentive that neither he, and with much energy and ideas to give us.
May your light always shine! And it will be!
